Photoshop is a photographers best friend and this hands on workshop is designed for photographers of any level who would like to broaden their understanding of this amazing program. A basic understanding of Photoshop is required for this workshop as this is not an “introduction” to the program. Instruction will cover the digital workflow using the three components of the program; Bridge, Camera Raw and Photoshop and will focus on the importance of working in raw. Lectures and exercises cover how to process, adjust, correct, and manipulate captured images. A variety of tools and techniques including some of the best Photoshop plugins will be explored to transform images into the desired outcome, and give a complete understanding of this powerful program. The course ends with a raffle where students have the chance to win their own copy of some of the plug-ins demonstrated in class.

The workshop will be held in the amazing town of Sedona, Arizona, where I live and you can stay and photograph as I will show many great places where you can shoot in this gorgeous city! There are a ton of nice hotels from inexpensive to pretty pricey and lots of great eats too.

But the focus will be on learning how to make yoru photos really come to life and I will be showing tons of great  tips and tricks to improve your post processing skills.   The class will be taught at Yavapai College in West Sedona, with everyone having their own iMac. It will be a very informative two days!
